DeAtley Crushing Company · Caught in, under or between a moving and a stationary object

Worker was changing a v belt when EE's RT little finger was pinched between the belt and the sheave. The worker did not immediately report the incident thinking there was no injury. A later visit to a DR. revealed the finger is fractured. Worker reported injury July 9th.

DeAtley Crushing Company · Fall from machine

Employees were cleaning the receiving lip of a screen box. There was wet clay material on the punch plate screens within the screen box. While standing on this screen the employee slipped on the wet clay, fell backwards, and hit their head, causing a gash in the scalp. The gash was accompanied by a raised bump and swelling. The laceration was closed with 2 staples.
