Employee was removing rock on top of conveyor belt when belt rolled and pinched EE's foot in hopper. EE had a fracture to EE's left fibula and was placed into a splint.

The employee said he had a rock stuck in his tire. He said rock was size of a football. He kicked the rock, breaking it. A piece of rock fell and hit him on the foot breaking his steel toe in half. I asked to see his boots that the steel toe broke and he stated he threw them away and the trash was already picked up so he couldn't bring them in.
