2 EMPLOYEES WERE IN THE PROCESS OF INSTALLING A NEW CUTTING EDGE ON ML53 988 CAT LOADER BUCKET. ONE OF THE CUTTING EDGES FELL OFF THE FLOOR JACK WE USE TO LIFT THE EDGE INTO PLACE AND CAUGHT INJURED'S FINGER BETWEEN EDGE AND BLACKTOP.

DUMP BOX ON F3 FIELD CONVEYOR WAS PLUG UP, AND EE WAS USING A SPUD BAR TO PRY ROCK OUT OF BOX AND IS THUMB ON RIGHT HAND GOT PINCH BETWEEN SPUD BAR AND DUMP BOX, CUTTING THUMB. RESULTING IN GE TTING 9 STITCHES. CONVEYOR WAS SHUT DOWN AT TIME OF ACCIDENT.

EE WAS INSTALLING SAFETY RAILINGS ON WALKWAY, USING CUTTING TORCH TO CUT AND BEND PIPE FOR RAILING, WHEN PIPE SLIPPED OFF POST AND STARTED TO FALL OFF PLANT. EE ATTEMPTED TO STOP FALL OF PIPE, BY GRABBING PIPE. PIPE PINNED HIS HAND BETWEEN PIPE AND POST.
