INJURED WAS TRYING TO STOP A WATER LEAK ONT HE ENGINE OF THE NGERSOL RAN DRILL #403. WHEN HE APPLIED PRESSURE TO THE FITTING IT BROKE AND WATER AND ANTIFREEZE SPRAYED INTO HSI FACE, BURNING H IS FACE AND BOTH EYES.
A 992 LOADER WAS LOADING ROCK ONTO A 777 ROCK TRUCK. THE MUCK PILE WAS APPROX. 15-18 FT HIGH. ROCKS FROM THE FALL ROLLED DOWN AND STRUCK THE LEFT REAR TIRE OF THE ROCK TRUCK. THE SUDDEN IMPACT JARRED THE DRIVER AND WRENCHED HIS BACK.
