While repairing the steps to the water truck, the employee was attempting to hold a bracket in place, while using a hand drill. The employee was attempting to drill out old broken rivet to install new plate and bolts. While drilling out out the old rivet, the drill bit made contact with the employee's Left index finger nail cutting the nail.

Twisted left ankle on bottom step going up to plant. Went to Carle Clinic for medical services. Released to return to work with modified duties. No heavy lifting, no up and down steps, and wear ankle support if nessecary. No prescription drugs were given. Return visit on 1 May 2012.
