While the injured was attempting to change the batteries on the # 8 scoop, the # 11 scoop was traveling outby and impacted the # 8 scoop causing it to move and pin the victim against the coal rib.

Injured was tramming continuous miner from #6 Entry to #8 Right Cross Cut. While miner was moving, injured was fatally injured when caught between conveyor boom of miner and coal rib.
