EMPL PUSHED EMERGENCY STOP BUTTON AS CAGE WAS ASCENDING ON INSPECTION SPEED.HE OPENED CAGE DOOR MANUALLY, GOT OUT OF CAGE AND DROPPED DOWN TO TOP FRAME OF BOTTOM LANDING DOORS.WHEN CAGE DOORS WERE SHUT THE CAGE CAME DOWN ON VICTIM WHO APPARENTLY WAS ATTEMPTING TO ADJUST BOTTOM LANDING DOOR SAFETY INTERLOCK SWITCH.KILLED INSTANTLY.
