The EE was descending the ladder of the sand heater when their ring on their left ring finger become caught on the ladder.

Employee was refabricating metal on a dragline bucket. As they were breaking the metal loose the employee felt a ""pop"" and sharp pain in their left shoulder.

Fall onto or against objects

Employee tried to correct ""Backlashed"" the Drag Cable on the Drag Drum. EE said that EE went to inspect the Drag Drum and Cable after EE positioned the machine to correct the Backlash. EE re positioned the guard, EE slipped and fell into the clutches which ripped EE's boots and cut EE's ankle and leg.

While welding a piece slag got in the cuff of the miners glove. This led to a small burn on the right arm. This later became infected.

The injured employee was climbing a fixed 7' ladder to access a conveyor platform. While he was climbing, he felt a sharp pain in his Right Hand. The employee continued his inspection of the platform and climbed back down the ladder. The employee lost sensation in his right hand and approximately 2-3 hours later the employees hand swelled up.

Fall to the walkway or working surface

Employee climbed up on a 55 gallon drum to retrieve a 3' length of 3"" PVC pipe located behind the drums. The drum he stepped on tipped and he fell to the ground landing on his left foot fracturing his fifth metatarsal.

Fall from machine

Employee was removing the spray bars while standing on the 8 inch beam that holds the screen deck, when his left foot slipped and he went to catch himself with his right foot & his ankle was turned. All of his weight was on his right ankle when he landed. The length of his fall was approx. 12 inches.

Employee picked up a gravel pan weighing approx. 5 lbs and turned with it to go the opposite direction. When he did this he felt a sharp pain in his right leg. It hurt a lot worse when he tried to stand straight up.

EE WAS CLIMBING DOWN OFF AN ELEVATED WALKWAY PLATFORM. AS HE WAS STEPPING DOWN, EE PANICKED WHEN HE MISSED A STEP AND CAUGHT HIS HAND ON A PROTRUDING BOLT AND LACERATED A FINGER ON HIS RIGHT HAND (8 STITCHES). (WAS DESCENDING LADDER MADE IN-HOUSE, PIVOTS/TRANSITION BOX; LOCATED BY CONVEYOR.)

EMPLOYEE WAS DISLODGING A LARGE OBJECT FROM FEEDER TUNNEL. HE WAS USING A PRY BAR PULLING ON IT WHEN THE OBJECT CAME LOOSE HIS HAND BECAME SMASHED BETWEEN A METAL OBJECT AND THE BAR CAUSING HI M TO SMASH HIS THUMB.
