Employee was using a 3-lb hammer to hit a wrench in order to loosen a nut on a threaded rod on the motor mount of the slurry pump. The hammer deflected off a guard onto the back of left hand, resulting in injury. X-ray diagnostics showed a fractured bone.

EE received laceration on Left Middle FInger while setting feeder floor on the primary crusher springs. One spring got caught up on feeder table, EE tried to line feeder table up with spring, in doing so the EE's hand got stuck between the spring and the feeder table causing a laceration on finger.

EE was manually spinning the sand pump shaft by using hands to rotate the v-belts on the pump to check impeller clearance. EE finger got caught between the v-belts and motor sheave as ee was turning the belts
