Crew was on-site changing screen cloth for a mode change. Injured employee was using a power tool to remove hard, built up material from screen deck rails prior to re-installing screen cloth. While shifting EE's weight the tool caught the rail, causing it to kick back and pinch the employee's thumb between the power tool and the cross tube on the screen deck.

Employee was using a blade to cut and remove electrical tape from a cord. As EE removed glove to peel back the tape EE made one final cut on the tape and accidently cut thumb.

CHANGING BELT ON VIBRATOR FINGER GOT CAUGHT BETWEEN BELT AND SHIVE AFTER LETTING GO OF THE SHIVE. THE SHIVE HAS A COUNTER WEIGHT THAT BRINGS IT TO THE STARTING POSITION. THE MINER BROKE HIS FINGER AND RECEIVED 12 STITCHES.

CHIPPING ICE OUT OF INSIDE OF THE BIN OF THE A/C #2 PLANT. EE WAS USING A SLEDGE HAMMER TO CHIP THE ICE. AT ONE POINT, THE SLEDGE HAMMER HIT THE WALL AND REBOUNDED INTO INJURED'S LEG.
