Absorption of radiations, caustics, toxic and noxious substances

Miner was using a fire extinguisher to put out a rag fire in a cabinet of a service truck and inhaled some of the chemical from the extinguisher. The fire started from a grinding spark flying into an open cabinet. The miner noticed the smoke while operating his loader and ran over and put it out. The fire was small and put out in a matter of a couple minutes.

Struck by falling object

Two miners were lifting a roll of geo grid into a loader bucket. The roll slipped out of one miner's hands and caused the other miner to lose his grip and drop the roll of geo grid on his foot. The miner broke the big toe on his left foot.
