Employee was cutting a piece of metal from the old plant, the metal had some spring tension on it. When cut through, the piece of metal sprung and hit the employee's leg just below the knee on the right leg. There was some swelling at the point of impact. Employee worked the rest of the day and requested to have the leg checked out the following day.
Employee was replacing a valve on a water tank, was cutting insulation off the valve to gain access. After cutting of insulation EE was about to cut a small wire tie off, the tie snapped quickly and they cut their hand between the ring finger and little finger on left hand. The cut required 2 stitches.

Tramming skid steer to assist in cleanup of debris around a work site. While tramming, employee ran over a rock that caused the machine to raise up on its back tires and then slam back down on the front. This caused the machine to bounce and injured the operator's neck.

Employee was tightening a nut on the Telsmith cone crusher using a sledge hammer to strike a bar that goes through the nut. As the employee was striking the bar the sledge hammer slipped causing a popping sound and pain in the employees right wrist

Excavator operator was loading haul truck operated. The truck was nearly loaded when a large sized rock rolled from excavator bucket and fell landing on the rear of the haul truck bed causing haul truck to rock backward jarring operator in EE's seat.

Employee was operating the Cat 980G loader, working the 3' stock pile and dressing up the berms. Employee claims the bucket was loaded and in the raised position with the loader articulated slightly to the left when the bucket suddenly free fell to the ground. This action caused the cab to bounce forward and the rear of the loader to rise from the ground then settle back.

Miner was clearing debris build up in bin underneath screening deck. While striking the material with a 5 foot prying bar his index finger got caught on the top of the bar. When his finger got caught it pulled the finger back breaking it past his thumb.

Mine employee began to climb up the Terex Haul Truck ladder when his boot slipped and he lost his grip. The miner fell approximately 36" landing on his extended right arm. A fracture occurred on the miners wrist and his forearm as a result from the fall.

Employee was adjusting skirt boards on a chute which leads to a 42 belt. The belt was running empty to calibrate the scales. The employee finished adjusting the skirt boards when his hammer and left arm were sucked into a belt idler. The employee received minor burns on his arm, minor cuts on his wrist, and a laceration on his middle finger which required 8 stitches.

Employee was replacing a guard on a conveyor. He was sent after a nut and washer. The employee turned, walked into a hanging ladder from the conveyor and fell against a concrete support. This fall caused injury to the employee's ribs.
