Eastern Associated Coal LLC · Struck against stationary object

AS EMPLOYEE WAS DRIVING TRUCK DOWN TO COW CREEK ROAD (APPROX 15 MPH) TO CHECK THE PONDS, HE ATTEMPTED TO NEGOTIATE A TURN TO THE RIGHT. THE TRUCK WHEELS DID NOT TURN AND HE RAN UP ON A CONCRETE BARRIER. THIS RESULTED IN A CONTUSION TO THE LARGE KNUCKLE AT THE BASE OF THE INDEX FINGER ON THE RIGHT HAND.
