LIFTING A PIECE OF EQUIPMENT (WATER PUMP) OVERHEAD EMPLOYEE SLIPPED AND PINCHED A NERVE IN HIS NECK.

OPERATOR OPENED AIR VALVE WITHOUT SECURING PUMP. EXHAUST BLAST FROM PUMP WENT INTO FACE. SAND SLURRY ETC CONTAINED IN BLAST COULD HAVE CAUSED EYES TO WATER. WENT TO HOSPITAL WHERE EYES WERE CH ECKED. NO DAMAGE RETURNED TO WORK.
