His left knee was twisted as a result. He was treated for a ligament injury and was given a brace, crutches and work restrictions.

A frozen chunk had plugged up a conveyor on the crusher. The employee used a pinch bar in an attempt to reposition the chunk. The hook at the end of the pinch bar slipped off of the frozen chunk which caused the straight end of the bar to hit the employee in the mouth, chipping two teeth.
