Employee was repairing blown hydraulic hose on a loader when the wrench slipped off the hose, which caused the employee to strike their right index finger against the hose clamp, causing a laceration. Employee did not seek medical treatment until 12/16/2023. Employee was ref. to a hand specialist and was given a finger splint on 01/11/2024.
LOADING CONCRETE CHUNKS AND WIRE A PIECE OF CONCRETE WITH REINFORCEING WIRE EXPOSED TIPED CAUSING WIRE TO PUNCTURE LEG. OPERATOR WAS NOT CONCERNED AT TIME OF ACCIDENT HE DID NOT SEEK MEDICAL A TT. AS HE WAS TOLD AT THAT TIME. TWO WEEKS LATERREDNESS AND TENDERNESS STARTED.
