Central Sand and Gravel Company · Caught in, under or between a moving and a stationary object

Employee was moving the dredge anchor cable that was against the workboat railing, when his left thumb was pinched between the railing cable, cut need 8 stitches to close wound.

A metal guard fell on his right hand while removing it from a gear box, causing a minor fracture to his right hand. A cast was placed on his right hand--no lost time.

The ee was helping to install grizzley screens that replaced the old one. The screen was jammed & stuck when it came loose it dropped on the ee's left arm causing a laceration that required 8 stitches. He also had a tetnus shot.

THE EMPLOYEE WAS CLIMBING DOWN THE LOADER LADDER AND STEPPED ON A ROCK THAT WAS HIDDEN IN SOME WEEDS. THIS CAUSED HIS LEFT KNEE TO TWIST RESULTING IN A STRAIN. DECLINED MEDICAL ATTENTION UNTIL 9/29/05 - DIAGNOSED WITH A TEAR.
