EE WAS OPERATING PLANT CONTROL TOWER. A ROCK LODGED IN JAW & HE WAS USING A JACK HAMMER TO BREAKIT DOWN. FELT A STRAIN IN BACK FROM USING JACK HAMMER. AFTER 3 WEEKS OF WORKING WAS ADVISED BY D OCTOR TO TAKE A WEEK OFF TO REST BACK, RETURNED WITHOUT FURTHER PROBLEMS.

PLANT WAS BEING STARTED UP. EE WAS STANDING ON CONE PLATFORM TO CHECK FEED AND CONE OPERATION AT START UP. AS ROCK WAS BEING FEED INTO CONE A ROCK -4 INCH CAME OUT OF BOWL OF CONE AND STRUCK E E ON TOP OF BOTH HANDS. CONTINUED TO WORK THAT DAY AND WENT TO DR AFTER WORK BECAUSE OF BRUISNG.

INSTEAD OF USING PROVIDED TOOL, EMPLOYEE TRIED TO HOLD UP LOCKING PALTES WITH HIS HAND AND WORK HYDRAULIC CONTROLS WITH OTHER HAND. WHEN HE DID SO LEFT FOREARM WAS PINCHED AND HE SUFFERED SLIGHT EDEMA AND SUPERVICIAL ABRASIONS. HAD ARM X-RAYED THAT
