MINER WAS CUTTING PLASTIC "ZIP" TIES WHICH SECURED A HOSE. HE WAS WEARING LEATHER PALM GLOVES. HOLDING TIE IN LEFT HAND, MINER USED POCKET KNIFE TO CUT TIE LOOSE, CUTTING TOWARDS HAND. KNIFE W ENT THROUGH GLOVE AND CUT HAND AFTER IT HAD CUT TIE. MUSCLE AS WELL AS SKIN CUT.
