Employee was cutting a piece of conveyor belt with a pocket style utility knife. The knife slipped out of the belt and struck the employee in EE's left knee lacerating it. The employee received 4 sutures to close the wound.

EMP REACHED UNDER THE GUARD ON THE HEAD PULLEY OF A SUPPLY CONVEYOR TO EXTRACT A ROCK THAT WAS CAUGHT ON THE SHOULDER OF THE PULLEY DRUM. IN DOING SO THE ROCK TURNED AND BROKE HIS RIGHT THUMB WHEN THE THUMB WAS PINCHED BETWEEN THE ROCK AND CONVEYOR FRAME. HE READILY ADMIS S GROSS CARELESSNESS
