Carter bin was connected to a D-8 dozer. Pin was pulled to release the dozer and the bin began to roll back. Employee attempted to stop the bin causing injury to right leg.

Employee was positioning his mobile equipment for refueling. While climbing out and as he stepped onto the ground, he twisted his right ankle and went down. Equipment was parked on a level area and the surface area was flat and free of tripping hazards. He stated that he isn't sure just what happened.

HIS TAILGATE WOULD NOT CLOSE. A MINE EMPLOYEE OF OURS BROUGHT A LOADER TO HELP CLOSE THE TAILGATE. INJURED HELD A BOARD ON THE TAILGATE SO IT WOULDN'T GET SCRATCHED. WHEN THE LOADER MADE CO NTACT W/TAILGATE, INJURED'S FINGER WAS PINCHED. HE HAD A CUT THAT REQUIRED THREE STITCHES.

HE SAW TO SEE IF GOUT IN FOOT COULD HAVE BEEN CAUSE POUNDING ON SCREEN. HE MISSED 2 1/2 DAYS THE FOLLOWING WEEKS .
