Miner was crouching down between support legs of conveyor to look under jaw and then stood up and made contact with crossbar that was part of the support legs. The contact led to a broken nose and cut lip. Stitches required.

Miner was at end of shift and stacking unused metal pieces after working on fabrication project. Miner was walking on metal sheet that was on the ground and fell, the fall resulted in a broken lower right leg. It was dark in this area, miner was using a headlamp for light. Medical services responded and took EE to the ER, miner required surgery.

WHILE PERFORMING MAINTENANCE ACITVITIES ON A CONVEYOR, EE DISLODGED MATERIAL THAT WENT BETWEEN THEIR FACE AND SAFETY GLASSES CONTACTING THEIR LEFT EYE. EE WAS EVALUATED AS HAVING A CORNEAL ABRASION AND PRESCRIBED EYE DROPS.
