Boulder was lodged in Jaw Crusher of plant. Plant Operator looked into Jaw to get a better view of the obstruction when the boulder popped hard against an iron plate lining the jaw opening. Injured party was wearing proper eye protection, but what ended up being a sliver of metal went underneath bottom rim of eye protection and become lodged in left eye.

TEARING DOWN CRUSHER. JUMPED OFF OF FEEDER--APPROX. 12'. TORE OPEN RIGHT ELBOW. JUMPED OFF FEEDER BECAUS CRANE OPERATOR TURNED MACHINE TOO QUICKLY ANDPOWER BOX WAS MOVING TOWARD HIM.
