Employee was using wire ties to keep chains from moving on the dredge. Employee decided to cut the wire ties with his own pocket knife. Employee placed his left hand on top of chain flat and cut toward his hand causing a laceration.

Other employees were working on area around QC lab. They had removed the stairs to the lab for repairs. Someone place a bucket in front of the door to use as a step. Injured went into the room and came out with a box of grease. As he stepped on the bucket, the bucket rolled over and he twisted his ankle.
