Employee was removing handrailing from deconstructed conveyor. Employee was cutting support bolts from the top of the handrail using a torch. When the second bolt was cut, the handrail had stored energy and popped free. The handrail then came in contact with employees forearm, causing a laceration.

EE WAS OFF WORK ONE DAY 3-11, WORKED REGULAR DUTY 3-12, AND THEN WAS PLACED ON RESTRICTED DUTY BEGINNING 3-15 WHEN THE FRACTURE WAS DISCOVERED.

THE EXPLOSION KNOCKED HIM BACK A FEW FEET AT WHICH TIME HE BAILED OUT OF THE TRUCK TO AVOID THE FLAMES WHICH WERE COMING OUT OF THE TANK. THE FIRE WAS IMMEDIATELY PUT OUT BY ANOTHER EE. WHEN HE BAILED OUT OF TRUCK BED, HE SMASHED ELBOW ON WATER TRAILER HITCH.
