Struck by falling object

Employee drilled a test hole and was removing drill steel from the top when a piece became lodged. As employee was trying to retrieve the stuck drill steel, it fell out of the hole and struck them on the left pinky, causing a laceration.

Employee was removing rock from the on top of the continuous miner using a slate bar. The rock slid over and struck EE in the arm causing a laceration.

Employee was installing a roof bolt just inby spad no. 6978 on 1A section, when a rib rolled striking EE in the right lower leg, fracturing EE's Fibula.

The employee was flipping track rails over to begin installation, when a finger became caught between two rails, resulting in a laceration to right middle finger.

Employee was stacking supplies on the roof bolting machine when a piece of draw rock fell from the top and struck them on the thigh. The employee was injured on 6/11/2025 and was treated, released, and returned to work until 6/21/2025, when they revisited the hospital and was written off work.

Employee stepped down from the roof bolter when EE felt a pain in EE's leg, causing EE to fall.

Employee was reaching for a piece of drill steel at which time a piece of rock struck the tip of EE's left thumb. The piece of rock was approx. 28"" inches in length and 27"" inches wide and approx. 2"" inches thick.

Employee was walking on the first right belt and felt a pop in right knee. No bottom irregularities or mud existed to constitute any type of contributing factor to the injury.

Security guard was making patrol rounds in parking and guard shack area adjacent to the administrative buildings. While walking she tripped over a parking barrier resulting in spraining her right wrist and bruising her right shoulder and tail bone.
