EMPLOYEE WAS WALKING DOWN A GRAVEL PILE AND STARTED TO SLIDE. WHEN HE CAME TO A HALT ON STABLE GROUND, HIS KNEE ON THE RIGHT SIDE GAVE OUT AND HE FELL TO THE GROUND. POSSIBLE RIGHT-KNEE INJURY .

WEATHER WAS CLEAR, DRY AND SUNNY. EMP WAS CLIMBING OUT OF THE 966 LOADER, WHICH WAS PARKED ON LEVEL GROUND IN FRONT OF THE MECHANIC SHOP WHEN HE EITHER MISSED THE STEP OR HIS FOOT SLIPPED OFF THE STEP AND HE FELL TO THE GROUND. EMP SUFFEREDA BROKEN SCAPULA AND RIB.
